Anomaly Flight Update
Written by Anomaly Flights
COVID-19 and the Travel Industry:
Hi friends and fellow travelers. We hope that you and your families are all doing well and staying healthy during this wild time. With all of this uncertainty and the extended time at home, we hope that you are still finding some peace and happiness.
As a travel-related business, this has been an odd couple of weeks for us. Most people are not only not interested in traveling (for good reason) but are also under stay at home orders by their respective state governments. We believe that these social distancing programs are wise measures to stop the spread of this virus and believe that everyone should do their part to help slow the spread. It also appears that we are at least a couple of months out from things starting to look normal once again, although it may even be longer than that.
So what does this mean for Anomaly Flights… Well, with a dip in the travel industry like this, we are also starting to see some of the most incredible deals we have ever seen. Airline companies are desperately trying to fill up their planes and are offering rock bottom rates to make it happen. They are also offering free cancelation and waiving change fees so that you will feel comfortable booking a flight. This isn’t just true for the airline companies, but also hotels, rental car companies, cruise lines, and vacation rental companies like VRBO and Airbnb. This means that, once it is safe to travel if you are proactive, you will be able to save hundreds if not thousands of dollars while seeing the world.
This won’t last forever. We encourage you to be wise and stay healthy but also don’t be afraid to start looking out six to twelve months and take advantage of some of the deals that are starting to become available. Anomaly Flights exists to find you the absolute best prices on flight deals and we think that we are just about to enter one of the best times to be a traveler on a budget.
Love you all!
